About

The Southern California Scaffolding Association of Scaffolding Contractors Represents x Union Scaffolding Companions whom partner with the local unions by in negotiating mutually beneficial terms to our members and theirs, so all members in turn can collaborate to keep the construction workers of southern california safe while they provide to the vital work they do in building American. The high quality of work provided by the union workers and companies is in large part possible by the rigorous and admirable efforts of the union to train their employees in all matters necessary to provide such scaffolding. The training is accomplished through the apprenticeship program. Those efforts no doubt have prevented many terrible accidents – both fatal and permanent - throughout the years. The safety videos which we are making available on our website are to aid those efforts by providing users relevant information to stay safe. Both the scaffolding builders and the scaffolding users must collaborate if a safe work environment is to be maintained. It’s rightly been said, “safety is no accident”. The insight of the saying is twofold: 1) The more obvious one: if an accident were to occur workers are not safe and 2) : the less obvious one that safety only occurs if deliberate, intelligent, and thorough planning is done to prevent it. Our members and the union members aim to accomplish both by providing the latter.

Let’s talk.
